Inside an old ice house on Lake Juliet located in
northwestern New Jersey, four musicians gathered to
jam and kick around some musical ideas. As time
passed, and as they became aware that actual songs
were forming, the musicians refined the tunes and
added lyrics. The songs on the resulting CD are the
product of those jams, recorded live to maintain the
spontaneous interaction between the musicians. These
recordings capture the performance of the four players
together in one room, rejecting the typical recording
style.
